Random blog day boo yah. As you should know Fridays is random blog day were we talk anything and everything and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is the popular social app TIKTOK.

TikTok is asocial networking service owned by ByteDance Beijing based tech company founded in 2012 by creator Zhang Yiming, Its used as short video stream service showcasing music, lip-sync, dance, comedy and much more. ByteDance first released TikTok as Douyin (as its known) in China in September 2016, It was released for iOS and Android outside of China in 2017 becoming worldwide after merging with Musical.ly another similar Chinese social media site on august 2^nd 2018. as of July 202 TikTok has reportedly close to 700 million users worldwide.

There has been some controversies with the TikTok app with misinformation about Covid-19 being made alongside users being arrested and jailed over supposed immoral, vulgar and inappropriate usage as well as content censorship/moderation and bans in various countries including Indonesia, Bangladesh and supposedly by the US, however there is a supposed business deal between TikTok and Oracle which would negate 'President' Trump's efforts to completely close down TikTok in the US.

It is my belief that TikTok whilst an app that can be abused in several ways (We're looking at you buisness owners, Predators, Paedophiles and Bullies) However It is a good place to not only be yourself but show off your creativity and imagination, there are several great TikTokers on the app who show brilliance through creativity and I highly recommand they get followed.
