As you should know Tuesdays is book blog day were we talk about one particular book and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on the Disney twisted tale; So this is Love by Elizabeth Lin
What if Cinderella never tried on the Glass Slipper?
Unable to prove that she's the missing princess, and unable to bear life under Lady Tremaine any longer, Cinderella starts work at the palace as a seamstress. However when Cinderella finds herself witness to a grand conspiracy to take the king-and the prince- out of power, she is faced with questions of love and loyalty to the kingdom.
Cinderella must find a way to stop the villains of past and present...before it's too late.

This Book like many others in the twisted tales collection is pretty good with the twist which leads to a completely different story being told. The twist of Cinderella not being found which leads her to becoming part of the castle staff and being in an instrumental position to help the prince after hearing of the conspiracy to take him out. I highly recommend this book to all lovers of fairy tales and all things Disney and I give it an 8/10.
Author Elizabeth Lim grew up listening to a hearty blend of myths, songs and fairy tales with her passion for storytelling beginning around ten years old, when she started writing fan fiction for Sailor Moon, Sweet Valley, and Star Wars. When posting them online Lim discovered “Wow, people actually read my stuff. And that's kinda cool!” But after one of her teachers told her she had “Too much voice” in her essays, Lim took a break from creative writing to focus on not flunking English.
After school Lim went onto become a film and video game composer, even going so far as to get a music composition doctorate, however she missed writing and often used writing as a breather from Grad school. This prompted Lim to write and finish a novel for the kicks, a decision that changed her life and made her an author. She hasn't looked back. Lim currently lives in NYC with her husband.
