Hey there Earthlings, Alternatives and Trollers. Put down that mouse and lend an ear. Welcome to The Bandersnatch blog where we talk weird, wacky and wondrous. I'm Mama Ogre and I have no idea what I'm doing.

As you should know Tuesdays is book blog day were we talk about one particular book and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on the Disney Twisted Tale As Old as Time by Liz Braswell

What if Belle's Mother cursed the Beast?

When Belle touches the Beast's enchanted rose memories flood through Belle's Mind – Memories of a mother she thought she would never see again. And, stranger still, she sees that her mother is non other than the beautiful enchantress who cursed the castle and all its inhabitants.

Shocked and confused, Belle and the Beast will have to unravel a dark mystery about their families that is 21 years in the making.

As Old As Time was Published on September 6th 2016 by Disney-Hyperion.

Another great version of the classic fairy tale and the twist of magic being both a common occurrence and being sought out for eradication gives the story an extra vein of danger and excitement. Especially with magic and the enchantress tying both beast and belle tighter together than originally possible. Great for Disney lovers and fairytale fans I give it a 7/10.

Author Liz Braswell has written several books both for Twisted Tales and several of her own both under her own name and under a pseudonym. Braswell Lives in Brooklyn NYC with her husband, children and pets as well as five coffee trees she insists will produce coffee beans one day.
