Hey there Earthlings, Alternatives and Trollers. Put down that mouse and lend an ear. Welcome to The Bandersnatch blog where we talk weird, wacky and wondrous. I'm Mama Ogre and I have no idea what I'm doing.

Random blog day boo yah. As you should know Fridays is random blog day were we talk anything and everything and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on the American TV show/Paranormal team Ghost Adventures.

Ghost Adventures is an American Paranormal Documentary style reality TV series that premiered on October 17th 2008 on the Travel Channel before moving to Discovery plus in early 2021. Ghost Adventures began as an independent film, produced in a documentary style. It was filmed in 2004 and published by 4real productions in 2006. The SciFi Channel premiered $Reel's Ghost Adventures on July 25th 2007. the documentary centred on the trios investigation of alleged paranormal activity in and around Virginia city, Nevada. Including the Goldfield Hotel in Goldfield Nevada. The crew returned there during the series fourth, fifth and seventh seasons. The series is currently produced by MY-Tupelo Entertainment (A merger of MY Entertainment and Tupelo-Honey Productions). The program follows Ghost Hunters Zac Baggins, Nick Groff (Series 1-10), Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley as they investigate locations that are supposedly reported to be haunted.

Ghost Adventures currently has 24 seasons, topping out at 231 episodes and 49 specials. During each episode the team investigate the haunted location with the hope to collect both visual and auditory evidence of the paranormal. It starts with the crew touring the site with the owners/operators with interviews of those who claimed to have seen paranormal activity. Cameras are placed in the areas with the most reported activity. After completing the walk-through and interviews the team discuss strategy and then are locked in for the night with the hope that Audio and physical contamination is kept to a minimum from outside.

The team then used their equipment including Digital thermometer's, EMF meters, cameras, audio recorders, The Ovilus device and more in the effort to capture ghosts. Said evidence collected during each investigation is then analysed afterwards and cut down to an hour show, the most prominent pieces found are then presented specifically in the episode at the appropriate times they were found during the investigation and each one is explained to the best of their ability. I love Ghost Adventures partially due to having a strong love and respect of the paranormal. I would love to at some point meet the team and both discuss the paranormal and maybe ghost hunt with them someday. I definitely recommend the show to those who love paranormal and I give the show a 10/10.
