Random blog day boo yah. As you should know Fridays is random blog day were we talk anything and everything and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on Comedienne Iliza Schlesinger.
Iliza Vie Shlesinger was born in NYC on February 22nd 1983 to a Jewish family and was raised in Dallas Texas. In 2007 Shlesinger won Myspace's So you Think You're Funny contest and the G4 Network's Myspace Girl of the Week, in 2008 Shlesinger became the first woman and the youngest winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing in Series 6, she was was twice selected to head eliminations winning each time. She also appeared in the last comic standing tour.
Shlesinger was the comic co-host with Neil DeGrasse Tyson on the Star Talk Radio Show for season 7 episode 12 in May 2016, in June the same she also created and appeared in comedy series Forever 31. Shlesinger also published a book in 2017 called Girl Logic: The Genius and the Absurdity with an intro by Mayim Bialk. Shlesinger has gone onto produce five comedy specials which are shown currently on Netflix. The shows are War Paint released in 2012, Freezing Hot in 2015, Confirmed kills in 2016, Elder Millennial in 2019 and UnVeilled in 2020. On May 12th 2018, Shlesinger married chef Noah Galuten in a Jewish ceremony in LA.
Iliza has been one of my favourate comediennes since I found out about her in 2015, both confirmed kills and elder millennial are my favourate shows she's released. To me Iliza is one of the priceless people and she has a 10/10 from me.
