Hey there Earthlings, Alternatives and Trollers. Put down that mouse and lend an ear. Welcome to The Bandersnatch blog where we talk weird, wacky and wondrous. I'm The Bandersnatch and I have no idea what I'm doing.

As you should know Tuesdays is book blog day were we talk about one particular book and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on the classic Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie

Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the midnight express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of year, but by morning it is one passenger fewer. An a

American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen time, his door locked from the inside.

Isolated and with a killer in their midst, detective Poirot must identify the Murderer – in case he or she decdes to strike again.

- Murder on the Orient Express Goodreads

Murder on the Orient Express is one of Hercule Poirot's stories. It was published in the UK on January 1st 1934 by Collins Crime Club. It was later published in the US on February 28th 1934, under the title of Murder in the Calais Coach. Ive always struggled to read Agatha Christie;s novels however I've seen several adaptions of several of her books and understand most of the stories due to that. I do however recommend Agatha Christie to be read at least once by crime lovers and I give the book a 6/10.

Born Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie was born Agatha Miller on September 15th 1890 to an upper middle class family in Torquay, Devon. Christie became well known as a writer publishing 66 novels and 14 short story collections as well as a well known play called The Mousetrap -which was performed in the west end from 1952-2020. Christie was married twice but only had one child, she served in hospital dispensaries during both world wars and in 1971 was made a Dame due to her contributions as a writer. Christie died on the 12th of January 1976, Guinness World Records lists Christie as the best selling fiction writer of all time due to her works selling over 2 billion copies.
