As you should know Tuesdays is book blog day were we usually talk about one particular book and pretty much run with it. Today's blog however is on the Criminal Minds fanfiction stories: The Bond of Cousins by tallshadow72, Rossi's Little Girl by charmed 4lifekaren and Second Chances by Ann Parker.
THE BOND OF COUSINS

While the BAU is in Bostin hunting Adrian Bale, Reid gets an unexpected phone call from CPS. Apparently, his mother had a sister he never knew about-and now that his aunt and her husband are dead, it's up to Reid to raise their deaf daughter.
I love this story because it enforces what is both good and bad in the criminal minds characters without too many changes, the main change being the writers OG character. I also appreciate the fact it shows a Deaf character in a prominent role that we don't often see in fiction (both in mainstream and fan guises). I highly recommend this story if you love seeing Reid in a 'Dad Role' and I give this fic a 7/10.
Tallshadow72 since joining fanfiction.net on March 28th 2017 has gone onto write 24 stories covering Merlin, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Harry Potter, Criminal Minds, and Vampire Diaries.
ROSSI's LITTLE GIRL

When David Rossi re-joined the BAU after ten years he was expecting things to be different. What he wasn't expecting was for his daughter, who hasn't talked to him for almost twelve years, to be the team's Technical Analysist. Now, he cant help but think that this may be the chance to repair what he ruined all those years ago and once more have a relationship with is daughter.
This story came out of left field for me in terms of looking for fanfiction to read as I found it during my original binge watching of Criminal minds. And having Rossi and Garcia as family definitely added to the story and shows an alternative version to the show we all know and love. I highly recommend this 152 chapter (and counting....hopefully) fanfic and give it an 8/10.
Charmed4lifekaren has written 71 stories since she joined fanfiction.net on April 19th 2008 which fall into NCIS, Firefly, Suits, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Ringer, Torchwood, Angel, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Avengers, Revolution, Arrow, Law and Order: SVU, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Supergirl, White Collar, Lucifer, Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, Legends of Tomorrow, Charmed, Castle and Agent Carter.

JJ/Reid – Post 7x07. When things end between JJ and Will, who will pick up the pieces? Can their relationship handle all that has gone on between them, all that has been left unsaid?
I love this story purely for the alternative view it gives off, one that shows what could have happened between JJ and Reid if they'd properly gotten together and the repercussions/changes that would happen following such a union. This story was runner up in the JJ/Reid category of the Profilers Choice Awards 2015 even spawned a sequel of 126 chapters called Partners which went onto become winner of best JJ/Reid and most beloved fic story in PCA's 2016. I highly recommend this story to all the JJ/Reid shippers out there and I give the story an 8/10.
Ann Parker joined fanfiction.net on February 23rd 2001 and has gone onto write 33 fanfic stories for JAG, Bones, Numb3rs, Glee, Pretender and Criminal Minds.
