As you should know Tuesdays is book blog day were we talk about one particular book and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on Two Lord of the Rings Fanfiction; Erenion by Gaia Caecilia and The Official Fanfiction University of Middle-Earth by MissCam.

High King Ereinion Gil-Galad gets dropped into earth, in the early 21^st century and on the University of Kent campus in Canturbury, fairly late in the second age. This is the tale of the young lady he bumps into upon arrival.

Ereinion was one of the first completed stories I ever read since coming to fanfiction.net nearly twenty years ago and being a lover of Lord of the Rings since I was a child, reading a completed Lord of the Rings fanfiction thrilled my heart and nerd brain to no end, as such I give this story a 9/10.

Author Gaia Caecilla joined Fanfiction.net on January 31^st 2006 and has written 29 stories for Lord of the Rings, David Eddings, Silmarillion, Harry Potter, and Avengers.

The fic that spawned miniBalrogs, Elrond's Naturally Nine, the MorgothSauron feud, Urple the WitchWall and finally, Gimli got the girl.

This was the first complete LoTR fanfic I read when I first found out about Fanfiction.net near twenty years ago. Seeing it through the eyes of a LoTR lover I saw the humor and ridiculousness of what the author was trying to convey and what I'd seen in other LoTR stories. I give the story an 8/10.

Author MissCam joined Fanfiction.net on August 1^st 2000 and has written 265 stories for Water Rats, StarTrek: Voyager, X-overs, Babylon 5, Angel, Legend of Zelda, Lord of the Rings, X-Files, CSI, Blue Heelers, Boston Public, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Chronicles of Narnia, Warcraft, Star Trek: 2009, FlashForward, Rome, Merlin, Fringe, Nikita, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Ringer, Once Upon a Time, Pathfinder RPG, and Dragon Age.
