Hey there Earthlings, Alternatives and Trollers. Put down that mouse and lend an ear. Welcome to The Bandersnatch blog where we talk weird, wacky and wondrous. I'm The Bandersnatch and I have no idea what I'm doing.

Random blog day boo yah. As you should know Fridays is random blog day were we talk anything and everything and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on specific blog News.

THE BANDERSNATCH IS ON YOUTUBE!!!!!!!!!

Currently I'm posting on Fridays/Saturdays with Reviews of Lord of the rings new TV series on Amazon Prime The Rings of Power. The reviews for Episodes one and two are already up on my channel, the link to both the video and my channel are down below in the bibliography.

I'm also reviews for House of the Dragon, due to a delay Episodes one two and three share were to share the same video and posted Wednesday, however due to technical issues.....I don't have a video so here are the footnotes.

Ep 1:

- Appreciate both having the cold open of the great council under the voice over of the older Rhaenyra into seeing young Rhaenyra on dragon back.

- is the concept of smelling like dragon similar to smelling of horse?.

- the introduction of Daemon is awesome along with the obvious connection between him and Rhaenyra is shown this early.

- showing how the city watch/gold cloaks started properly with Daemon at its head is great. However it does show how savage Daemon can be with his orders and leading men. we do see a softer side however when he visits Mysaria.

- the friendship between Rhaenyra and Alicent is obviously a fabrication for the TV show but befo shows ho asw different life is before things go dangerously south.

- the jumps between the birth of Viseryss son and the tourney showcases how childbirth is a woman's battlefield whilst war and tourneys are those of men.

- the death of both the queen and the prince shows how the main Targeryons deal with heartbreak together and apart. It also shows how strong Rhaenyra is as she orders the lighting of her mother and brothers funeral pyre.

- The play by Otto hightower sending his daughter to the king shows how sneaky and political he is.

- the argument between brothers shows how finiky Targaryon blood is and that sending Daemon away is probs not the best move the king has done.

- Having Viserys tell Rhaenyra about the song of Ice and fire (what happens in GoT) dream Aegon Targaryon had is what drove him to conquer the seven kingdoms instead of the urge for conquest is an interesting tie in totnhe main show.

- Viserys is a good man but a bad king it's shown through the throne cutting Viserys finger.

- I love the fact that actor Graham McTavish of Hobbit fame (he plays Dwalin) is Ser Harold Westerling. Also love paddy Constantine as King Viserys and Matt Smith (of Dr Who fame, he was The Doctor) as Daemon. I also quite like Milly Alcock as Rhaenyra.

Ep 2:

- the intro being similar to GoT was awesome. Along with having a flashback to moments of the previous episode definitely sets up this one.

- Having it be six months after the first Ep shows some of the pressures of Rhaenyra is feeling as the heiress apparent along with Viserys having the pressure of marrying again shows how similar they are in their reactions.

- Daemon being himself and showing he's living up to the nickname the rouge prince and taking over dragonstone and swiping a dragons egg in the process shows how much Daemon is different to his brother and how much he wants to be noticed.

- The conversation between Rhaenyra and Rhaenys is a teachable moment Rhaenyra learns from.

- having Alicent be with the king during private moments shows how good a man Viserys is as well as showing how similar the kingdoms of westeros and valyria were and how different they can be.

- Rhaenyra "aiding" Otto Hightower in retrieving the egg Daemon took shows how cleaver and smart she is and how much of a powder keg Otto and Daemon being in the same space is as well as proving Daemons lies are convincing but are ultimately lies.

- With everyone insisting Viserys Marry Corlys and Rhaenys daughter to tame the beginning void between their families due to the stepstones take over.

- the king announcing he will marry Alicent is the beginning catalyst for what is to come. And prince Daemon joining forces with Corlys whose sought him out to sort out the stepstones I believe will show how vicious both Corlys and Daemon are whilst fighting.

Ep 3:

- the time jump definitely allows the passage of life evolving in Kings landing especially prince Aegon being 2 years old the first we see him and shows off everyones temperaments/attitudes having time to cement/and fester especially Rhaenyras. She's obvs unhappy her dad has married her best friend and had kids especially a boy who can legally take the throne from her. As well as the battle for the stepstones two years later is not going too well.

- definitely having added the medieval attitude of women to the series is a good thing but it seems to be a bit too much/over the top.

- Rhaenyra fighting against marrying in general is quite good especially her reaction to the lannister offer. Her riding off in a huff shows how angry she's gotten cause shes not consulted

- But at the end having her dad say it's your choice and she remains the heiress apparent I feel is a good thing but will bite everyone in the butt in the end.

- Rhaenyra seeing the White Hart and leavin byg it be shows shed be better as Queen, whilst dealing with the wild hog can be considered that she picks her battles.

- the people seeing Rhaenyra and Ser Christian return with the hog feels both an awe inspiring moment and kinda funny as she kinda proves herself in her dad's eyes.

- I defo appreciate how once Rhaenyra kind of "wins" her battle Daemon and Ser Corlys win theirs over the stepstones with na'er a word spoked from Daemon who ends the crabman by swiping him in half, especially after Corlys brother speaks Ill of him.

- the dude who plays the crabman wins in the having of awesome prostetics and make up.

All Future House of The Dragon reviews will be posted Mondays.

I'll also be posting poems, reviews of TV shows, movies and more on the scheduling of Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
