Random blog day boo yah. As you should know Fridays is random blog day were we talk anything and everything and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on the game Resident Evil Village(RE8).
When Resident Evil Village was announced at the PS5 reveal event in June 2020 and released on May 7th 2021 on both PS4 and 5, alongside Stadia, Xboxes One and Series X/S and windows with a macOS version and a cloud version for Nintendo switch coming in October 2022. The reviews received were generally favourable with praise for gameplay, setting and variety, however criticism for performance issues on the Windows Version has been made known, the increased focus on action has divided players opinions. Resident Evil Village ended u winning several accolades including Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards. By September 2022, the game has sold 6.60million units.
I became aware of Resident Evil Village also known as RE8, around the PS5 reveal event, especially afterwards there'd been several YouTube Videos from dedicated game players I ended up watching almost religiously. Due to financial issues I didn't get the game at launch but over a year later, since buying it I've managed to complete the game over the casual and standard modes but shave been unable to complete the game on the Hardcore and shadows modes. I quite like playing the game, my favourate characters are Lady Dimutrescu and Heisenberg which has me considering playing the other games in the series. I highly recommend the game to those who love playing survival games specifically, and playing games in general anf give the game an 8/10.
The Game series Resident Evil (also known as Biohazard in Japan), is a Japanese horror game series and media franchise created by the company Capcom. It's mainly a survival horror game usually in either First or Third-Person play. Players have to survive in Zombie/creature filled environments. The Franchise has expanded from the gaming world into Live-action, animation, novels and comic books as well as Audio and other media, there's also a thriving merchandise gathering as well, making Resident Evil is the highest-grossing horror franchise.
