As you should know Tuesdays is book blog day were we talk about one particular book and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on The Steadfast Tin Soldier by Hans Christian Anderson

The Story is as follows, A young Boy received 25 Toy Soldiers cast from an old Tin spoon, One Soldier stands on one leg due to not enough metal to make him whole. The tin soldier falls in love with a paper Ballerina who is also standing on one leg. A Goblin Jack-in-the-box who also loves the ballerina threatens the soldier. The soldier is knocked out the window presumably by the goblin and goes on an adventure of sorts ending up on a paper boat floating down the storm drain before being eaten by a fish. Due to being in the fish, the tin soldier ends back at the young boys house facing the ballerina again. The goblin Jack-in-a-box pushes the tin soldier into the fire and the ballerina being blown by the wind from an open window lands in the fire with the tin soldier and burns. The next day the maid cleans the fire place and finds a small tin heart with a spangle in it that once belonged to the ballerina.
