As you should know Tuesdays is book blog day were we talk about one particular book and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on the book Birdman by author Mo Hayder.


Caffery gets involved in the frightening case of give murdered women whose mutilated corpses are found in the outskirts of London. His investigation yields a treasure trove of abominations/ Caffery knows his department is looking in the wrong place for the perpetrator, but he cannot guess at the forces he is up against, or the true darkness of a killer's heart. The manhunt builds as a killer is cornered.

Birdman was published on December 1st 1999 by Bantam Books. It is part of the Thriller Genre and is the first of the Jack Caffery books written by author Mo Hayder. Mo Hayder is the pen name of Beatrice Clare Dunkel nee Bastin, (Born on January 2nd 1962) who not only was an author whose novels have sold more than 6.5 copies, but was an actress in her earlier life and appeared as Miss Belfridge in the BBC Sitcom Are you being served? Under the name of Candy Davies. Hayder passed away from complications of Motor Neurone Disease at the age of 59 on July 27 2021, having been diagnosed in December of 2020. she left behind her second husband Bob Randall whom she'd married in 2021.
