Hey there Earthlings, Alternatives and Trollers. Put down that mouse and lend an ear. Welcome to The Bandersnatch blog where we talk weird, wacky and wondrous. I'm The Bandersnatch and I have no idea what I'm doing.
As you should know Tuesdays is book blog day were we talk about one particular book and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on Into the Uncanny by Danny Robins.
I Know what I saw...
'The ghosts of today don't live in castles or stately homes. They're in normal houses and workplaces, witnessed by ordinary people like you and me. Now we just need to figure out what the hell they are – the dead returning from the “undiscovered country” of death?, Or the product of that equally mysterious location, the human mind?.
Into the Uncanny Goodreads page
I came across into the uncanny via the podcast series Uncanny. Admittedly I listened to the audiobook rather than reading it however, I loved it especially since it followed four more strange and unusual cases not tied to the podcast or TV show. Into the uncanny was published by BBC Digital on September 14th 2023. I highly recommend it for all of those who not only love the podcast but paranormal in general. I personally give the book a 9/10.
