As you should know Tuesdays is book blog day were we talk about one particular book and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on The Dragon Who Remembers by Esm_e124.


On the eve of her death, Rhaenyra Targaryon is consumed by Dragon fire, betrayed by those she once trusted. But instead of the stranger's embrace, she wakes in the past – years before the Dance of Dragons. Armed with the knowledge of the future she must decide: will she change history, or will fate ensure that fire and blood always reign.

The Dragon Who Remembers was first published on the 1st of February 2025 and currently has 91 chapters, with the recent one uploaded on the 27th of September 2025. I am in the midst of reading this fanfiction and I am in LOVE with it. The story is a Time-Travel/What-If/Fix-It type story and whilst I love the original material, this story is definitely providing a What-If situation. As such I highly recommend this and give it a 9/10.


Esm_e124 joined AO3 on 02/01/2025 and has 2 stories under their belt that are tied to House of The Dragon and A Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones).
