Puberty will be affected, with underdeveloped ovaries and cause infertility. There's also a range of physical features, characteristics and health problems that can affect people with Turner Syndrome.
Whilst Turners Syndrome doesnt cause issues with intelligence, language or reading skills, but can cause some form of learning difficulties.
Turners Syndrome may be diagnosed in babies and children either during pregnancy if heart or kidney problems are found during routine ultrasound scans, At Birth or during childhood as symptoms of the condition become obvious/are noticed. A blood test can confirm the diagnosis.
