As you should know Tuesdays is book blog day were we talk about one particular book and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on HoTD Fanfic Of Jade and Sapphire by Rosarifyre.

Saerenna Valeryon is the only legitimate child born from Ser Laenor Valeryon and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryon. From the moment she was born, she was hailed as a girl 'with the heart of a king'. Her life is shaped by expectations and perfection and is cumbersome. With a contentious relationship with her brothers, a respect for her mother that is shrouded with constant disappointment, and a childhood clouded with tragedy, Saerenna only finds solace in her uncle, Prince Aemond Targaryon and her dragon Saegael. Both of whom she shares a deep bond with.

As the Dance of Dragons mounts with growing tension, Saerenna and Aemond find themselves in a tentative dance between their happiness and loyalties.

Of Jade and Sapphire was first published on January 18^th 2026 and has 5 chapters as of its last update February 25^th 2026. I found this whilst searching for good HoTD stories and have found it rather good due to its story idea of a true child of Laenor and Rhaenyra finding it hard with everything around them. I give this story an 8/10 and definitely recommend its reading.
