Zeus (Legends of Olympus #1)

Adams.
Meet
Phoebe Katz, a twelve-year-old foster kid from New York City who's
been bounced around the system her entire life. Things happen around
Phoebe, but its not like they're her fault!. But when a statue of
Athena comes to life, Phoebe gets the stunning news she's the
daughter of Zeus, has a twin brother names Perseus-and was sent away
from ancient Greece as a baby to stop a terrible prophecy that
predicted she would one day destroy Olympus. Athena warns Phoebe to
stay in hiding, but when the vengeful god Ares kidnaps her beloved
social worker, Phoebe has no choice- she has to travel back in time
to ancient Greece and rescue him! There, Phoebe and her friends Angie
and Damian discover a new Prophecy, one that may fix everything. The
catch: Phoebe has to collect Talismans from Six Greek monsters,
including the fang from a nine headed hydra, a talon from the Nemean
lion and a feather from the sphinx. No problem for a girl with the
power to call up lightning bolts and change the weather! But can
phoebe collect them all and stop the prophecy before she destroys
Olympus?.

The eye of
Zeus was published on the 7th of April by SparkPress. The
author Alane Adams (born in Whittier, Southern California) has been
writing since the late 2000's. Along with the Legends of Olympus
series (of which The Eye of Zeus is the first) Adams has also written
The Legends of Orkney series, The Witches of Orkney series and a

The Queen
of Paris: A Novel of Coco Chanel

Coco

Publishing. The author Pamela Binnings Ewen lives in New Orleans and
has been writing since the early 2000's with several books earning
her positions as an awards finalist. Pamela Binnings Ewen's website

The
Heirloom Garden: A Novel

Graydon house. Viola Shipman is the pen name of Wade Rouse, who chose
the name in honour of his grandmother whose heirlooms and family

Willoughbys
The
four Willoughby children-- Timothy; his twin brothers, Barnaby A and
Barneby B and their little sister, Jane – are abandoned by their
oblivious parents and must learn hoe to adapt their old-fashioned
values to the contemporary would in order to create something new:
the modern family.

Willoughbys is an animation rated PG and has been released on April
22nd 2020 on Netflix (due to the cinemas being closed
during Quarantine).
To the
Stars
In a
god-fearing small town in 1960's Oklahoma, bespectacled and reclusive
teen Iris endures the booze-induced antics of her mother and daily
doses of bullying from her classmates. She finds solace in Maggie,
the charismatic and enigmatic new girl at school, who hones in on
Iris's untapped potential and coaxes her out of her shell. When
Maggie's mysterious past can no longer be suppressed, the tiny
community is thrown into a state of panic, leaving Maggie to take
potentially drastic measures and inciting Iris to stand up for her
friend and herself.

service (due to the cinemas being closed during Quarantine).
