Today's Nerd News is on the five movies: RESPECT, EVERYONES TALKING ABOUT JAMIE, RUMBLE, PETER RABBIT 2: THE RUNAWAY AND THE WHITE TIGER.

RESPECT

The movie Respect is a Biopic of Aretha franklin's career from a child singing in her fathers church Choir to her international superstardom.

Respect's cast includes Forest Whitaker, Jennifer Hudson, Tate Donovan, Marc Maron and Marlon Wayans with Liesl Tommy as director and Tracy Scott Wilson as writer, the release date for Respect is on January 14^th 2021.

EVERYONE'S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE

Based on the true story of Jamie New as shown on Film4's “Everyone's talking about Jamie” and the musical of the same name. Jamie New is 16 and doesn't quite fit in—instead of pursuing a “Real” Career he dreams of becoming a drag queen. Uncertain about his future, Jamie knows one thing for sure: he is going to be a sensation. Supported by his loving mom and his amazing friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.

Everyone's Talking about Jamie will be released on January 21^st 2021 with Jonathan Butterell as Director, Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae as writers and cast Max Harwood, Lauren Patel, Richard E. Grant, Sharon Horgan, Sarah Lancashire, Shobna Gultai

RUMBLE

In a world where Monster Wrestling is a global sport and monsters are superstar athletes, teenage Winnie seeks to follow in her fathers footsteps by coaching a loveable underdog monster into a champion.

Rumble was directed by Hamish Grieve and written by Etan Cohen and Matt Lieberman, the cast includes Will Arnett, Ben Schwartz, Geraldine Viswanathen, Terry Crews, Jimmy Tatro and Tony Danza. Rumble is set to be released on January 28^th 2021

PETER RABBIT 2: THE RUNAWAY

Bea, Thomas and the rabbits have created a makeshift family but despite his best efforts, Peter can't seem to shake he mischievous reputation. Adventuring out of the garden, Peter fins himself in a world where is mischief is appreciated, but when his family risks everything to come looking for him, Peter must figure out what kind of Bunny he wants to be,

The cast of Peter Rabbit 2 include Megan Hajjar, Rose Byrne, James Corden, Will Gluck, Neveen Hanna, Domhnall Gleeson, David Oyelowo, Patrick Burleigh and Andy Gathergood and will be released on January 15^th 2021.

THE WHITE TIGER

Balram Halwai (Adarsh Gourav) narrates his epic and darkly humorous rise from poor villager to successful entrepreneur in modern India. Cunning and ambitious, our young hero jockeys his way into becoming a driver for Ashok (Rajkummar Rao) and Pinky (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), who have just returned from America. Society has trained Balram to be one thing — a servant — so he makes himself indispensable to his rich masters. But after a night of betrayal, he realizes the corrupt lengths they will go to trap him and save themselves. On the verge of losing everything, Balram rebels against a rigged and unequal system to rise up and become a new kind of master.

The cast of The White Tiger include Priyanka Chopra, Raman Bahrani, Adasrsh Gourav and Rajkummar Rao and will be released on January 22^nd on Netflix.
