Random blog day boo yah. As you should know Fridays is random blog day were we talk anything and everything and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on Most Haunted Live 2022, which aired on Monday 31st of October 2022 (The Monday before this posting).

Most Haunted is a British Paranormal Reality TV Series which first aired on Living TV from 2002 until 2010 where after a four year hiatus, the show transferred to Really TV before transferring to Most Haunted's official YouTube channel alongside live events, various B-T-S material and out-takes.  There is a search for a new channel to host the main show but until then all now episodes will be found on the Most Haunted YouTube channel (Found in the bibliography down below). Most Haunted's had over 300 broadcasted episodes to date. 

With most paranormal shows shown on British TV Most Haunted bares the prefix “This show is for entertainment purposes only” due to the creation and showing of the Horror Mockumentary Ghostwatch originally shown on BBC1 on October 31st 1992, which had created such a stir with the public who believed that the show was completely real instead of staged. 

Due to the growing fanbase of the main TV show Most Haunted Live as a Spin-off accompaniment was pretty much an inevitable creative move and as such every year Most Haunted Live aired at Halloween and some years at the Spring Equinox due to being the two points of the year for being paranormally strong. The show was produced by Antix Productions and were usually broadcast live over several days usually three-four or up to seven-eight. Most Haunted Live went on a five year hiatus and returned to air on UKTV's Really on October 31st 2015, However by 2019 Most Haunted Live was being exclusively shown on the Official YouTube Channel. 

Most Haunted Live 2022 was aired live from Delapre Abbey in Northamptonshire which has a vivid history including wars of the roses and the disillusion of the monasteries connections, the team was last there in 2014 with the English rugby team and a lot of evidence was seen/captured then. Now due to the show airing 9pm onwards on YouTube, I did end up falling asleep part way through and had to have a second viewing. A lot of things did happen as repeated knocks -to which the live audience was feeling-, orbs and whistles, the most prominent were the movement of the skittles whilst attempting to table tip with them on the table, a book being thrown from the shelf it was on, the movement of the pop up cupboard used during the séance and the glitching of the camera equipment during said séance, which I must point out worked out for the good hour and a half before hand and the good hour or so afterwards.

I loved the fact that Most Haunted Live was back again, however it did make me nostalgic for the old lives that happened during the naughties. Especially history corner with Richard Jones and Richard Felix (both of whom have since moved on), I do love listening to the history of places especially if they have ghost stories attached. I did wonder where current historian/demonologist Fred Bat was however. I did appreciate the cut-away they did after the séance to double check the camera and move elsewhere and it shows that the knocks and whistles had been happening all day. I will admit that I half expected to see faces peering in the windows and people standing in doorways whilst watching the live but alas I did not and neither did anyone else report such phenomena. 

I really liked watching Most Haunted live and if you Like watching Ghost Hunting shows I highly recommend heading to the Most Haunted YouTube Channel (Link to the channel down below) and having a watch. I give the Most Haunted Live a 9/10.
