Random blog day boo yah. As you should know Fridays is random blog day were we talk anything and everything and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on the podcast Cemetery Confessions.
Cemetery Confessions is a once a moth podcast which has been running since 2014 with the first episode airing named “A Grave New World” on February 2nd. Now over a decade later the most recent episode “Desi Goth” aired on March 2nd. Dani Ashes is host and various topics including clothing, music and more that are connected to the goth community are talked about on the podcast with various people with ties to the community also being interviewed.
Being part of the alternative scene and a lover of black and mainly dark colours, I have a love of the goth ascetic as there are various bands and clothing brands tied to the goth scene that I love to both listen to and wear. Whilst I don't listen to every episode, I have listened to a lot of them since finding the podcast back in 2020. as such I tend to favour the episodes such as Episode 111 “Gothic Lolita” and 104's “Gothic Literature” I feel they show some of the ways the Goth culture is expanding beyond just the basics everyone knows about. I give Cemetery confessions an 8/10 overall.
