Random blog day boo yah. As you should know Fridays is random blog day were we talk anything and everything and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on Wedding Anniversaries.

A Wedding Anniversary is the anniversary of the date that a wedding took place. Couples often mark the occasion by celebrating their relationship either through private moments or with a public party. Celebrations and Gifts are often given for particular milestones that are considered special, I.E. 10, 15, 20 or 25 years. In some cultures the 50 year milestone is known as a Golden Wedding Anniversary.

Some significant anniversaries have names that suggest appropriate and/or traditional gifts, such as a Silver or Platinum Jubilee. Gifts are often exchanged by Spouses or by Guests at a party. This may also influence an anniversary parties theme or decoration. The gift may vary from Country to country. But nowadays anniversaries have similar if not the same established connections in various nations. A popular analogy occurs with the British Royal family and its monarchs. Usually the Jubilee years which are often associated with precious stones or metals. Down Below is a table of traditional gifts often considered within the US and the UK.
