Hey there Earthlings, Alternatives and Trollers. Put down that mouse and lend an ear. Welcome to The Bandersnatch blog where we talk weird, wacky and wondrous. I'm The Bandersnatch and I have no idea what I'm doing.

Random blog day boo yah. As you should know Fridays is random blog day were we talk anything and everything and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on Raynaud's Disease.

Raynaud's Disease also known as Raynaud's Phenomenon, is an unusual condition that causes the reduction of blood flow into the bodies extremities, I.E: Fingers and Toes. Common triggers include stress and exposure to extreme cold. Symptoms often include fingers or toes turning white or blue, affected areas feeling both cold and numb as the feeling of tingling and/or throbbing when blood flow returns. Complications from Raynaud's includes skin sores and/or Gangrene.

There are two types of Raynaud's disease: Primary Raynaud's which usually has no cause and often affects young women and Secondary Raynaud's which is often attached to other health issues such as Lupus and scleroderma. Doctors can check for Raynaud's disease using a device called Nailfold Capillaroscopy. Reduced exposure to cold temperatures and the wearing of warm clothing alongside the limiting of caffeine and alcohol and exercise to increase blood flow does aid in keeping the experience of Raynaud's disease rather low.
