Random blog day boo yah. As you should know Fridays is random blog day were we talk anything and everything and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on the British TV show Long Lost Family.

Long Lost Family is a British TV series that airs on ITV since 21^st April 2011. The Programme is hosted by Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell and the aim of the show is to reunite relatives after years of separation. The Show's production company is Wall to Wall and is based on the Dutch TV show Spoorloos which aired during the 1990's and was made by the production company KRO-NCRV

Spoorloos aired from 2^nd February 1990 to 11^th December 2024 before being cancelled in February 2025 due to several reunion mismatches. Early episodes included studio interviews which started with those being interviewed over missing relatives and ending with said lost relatives being reunited on stage. Later episodes focused on reunions with biological families outside the studios with DNA matching being done behind the scenes.

Davina McCall is an English TV presenter and has presented various TV shows including various shows for Channel 4 such as Street mate (1998-2001 & 2016), Big Brother (2000-2010) and The Million Pound drop (2010-2015), and several shows for ITV including The Biggest Looser (2011-2012) and Long Lost Family (2011-present....as of this blog). McCall also co-hosted Comic Relief (2005-2015) and since 2020 she has been a Judge on the ITV singing competition show The Masked Singer.

Nicholas Andrew Argyll Campbell OBE AKA Nicky Campbell (Born Nicholas Lackey: 10^th April 1961) is a Scottish broadcaster and journalist. He has worked in TV and Radio since 1981 and as a Network presenter with BBC radio since 1987. Campbell is also a Presenter on ITV's Long Lost Family.
