Random blog day boo yah. As you should know Fridays is random blog day were we talk anything and everything and pretty much run with it. Today's blog is on Reincarnation.

Reincarnation also known as rebirth and transmigration, is a concept that non-material essence of a living being begins a new lifespan in a different physical form or body after death. Reincarnation has philosophical and religious ties with most beliefs involving reincarnation has the soul of a human being is immortal, and the soul upon death merely passes onto another newborn baby or animal to continue its immortality.

The term Transmigration means “The passing of a soul from one body to another after death”

Reincarnation can be found in various religions, with various Indian religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism consider Reincarnation being a central tenet. Reincarnation also occurs as an esoteric belief amongst certain streams of Judaism, pagan religions and the indigenous people of both the Americas and Australia. Several ancient Greek historical figures including Pythagoras, Socrates and Plato, expressed belief in the soul's rebirth or migration.

Whilst most of the denominations within the Abrahamic religions don't believe in reincarnation, particular groups such as Catharism, Alawites, Rastafarians and the Druze do refer to reincarnation. Recent scholarly research have explored the historical relations between different sects and the belief about reincarnation. The research includes the views of various philosophies includes Neoplatonism, Orphism and the Gnosticism of the Roman era, in recent decades many Europeans and North Americans have developed an interest in reincarnation.
